Erol is in essence a Web shop and catalogue builder for online sites. Its approach is using a page base to upload any and all commercial value for the site. One can place any typeface on the page anywhere and can place any sort of icon, item or image on the page. One’s imagination is the key controlling factor here. Free form lay outing is the norm here and there are HTML and template editors creating the final layout. One has absolute freedom on display items. Linking to HTML and one can include special e commerce buttons for purchase, quantity fields and with drop down options for prices and items. Templates can be saved and may be used later on for newer output. Items for e commerce are given free range, from text descriptions to product images, with options for variations on pricing or colour or size. The application supports WorldPay, DataCash, Netbanx together with Secure Trading for online processing of payments. As for off line payments, there is a built in module to process orders with data encryption for credit card data using PGP email protocols. The program also considers tax and shipping costs and recognized EU regulations on these costs included in the sale. One click of the country check out and an automatic calculation is performed.
